#219 Bragging About Meeting Their Favorite Author
........................................................................................I went to a Stuff White People Like singing earlier this evening. Christian Lander is funny and very ordinary looking. In fact he looked like he could be one of my classmates. All of the guys in my cohort sport that same scruffy-beard-and-thick-frame-glasses look. But then that's because I belong to the "ivory tower of academia" for white people which is "most coveted as it imparts true, useless knowledge. The best subjects are English, History, Art History, Film, Gender Studies, When getting my book autographed I told him about us trying so damn hard not to be labeled as FOBs by becoming excessively white. Someone asked him which Stuff White People Like spin-off he likes the best and he referred us to White Stuff People Like. Oh, and what made my evening was that he made a grammatical error in the note that he wrote me. See grammar.
