Long Live Overpriced Junk You Normally Wouldn't Buy
I drop my ring and watch in Jamaica.
I wear Cancun.
I drink in London, Chicago, or Washington DC.
I hang Cyprus on the wall.
I open the mail with Vegas.
I put Niagara Falls in my pocket.
I drink in Menda, Manhattan, or San Antonio.
I get a G' Day from Sydney.
I burn incense in Thailand.
I slip into New Orleans.
I fan myself with Japan.
I drink in Toronto, San Diego, or Cleveland.
I put salt and pepper in Vegas.
I wear Chile around my neck.
I put Armenia in my purse.
I slip my feet into New Zealand.
I drink in Detroit, Long Beach, Raleigh, or...

Tempting - on a multitude of levels
I'm overwhelmed with an urge to add "on a multitude of levels" to the end of my sentences.

"Are you not entertained?"
- I re-watched Gladiator twice this weekend, thanks to TBS. I had forgotten how great that movie and more importantly how hot Russell Crowe is. I say there needs to be more Russell-Crowe-in-armor movies. And I second myself.

- I also finished reading the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time this weekend. It was Linda's recommendation but when I looked it up on Amazon.com I immediately recognized the red cover with the upside-down black dog on the front and remembered that I had meant to read the book when it was still on the bestseller shelves. Anyways, it's a fast and easy read. I really liked the simplicity of the narrative. Nothing flashy or pretentious. I do have two problems with this book though. The first is a credibility issue, which is addressed here. The second one, which is not addressed anywhere, is that I'm not a fan of long names for books. Of course this was way better than We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will be Killed With Our Families: Stories from Rwanda, a book that I can never tell people I read because they stop listening half-way through.

- And here I present to you the map of online communities, stolen from a webcomic I came across today. Not only the map is brilliant (see compass-rose-shaped island), everything else I've seen on xkcd so far has been pretty witty. Nothing beats geeky humor.
